DELIVERY AND REFUND POLICY

1. General information

All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place your order, we will notify you and refund you the total amount of your order, using the original method of payment.

2. Delivery location

Items offered on our website are available for free delivery in Manhattan, most of Brooklyn, Queens and Bronx. We also service Hudson Co in New Jersey on Saturdays. For delivery outside of these locations, we charge an additional fee.

3. Delivery time

Your chosen delivery window is an estimated delivery time and we will do our very best to make delivery during this window. Delivery times are estimates. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only and are subject to the acceptance and approval of your order.

We strive to make all delivery windows but due to the nature of NYC traffic, weather & other variables outside of our control we reserve the right to reschedule or deliver outside of requested window.

Available Dates of delivery may vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location, method of delivery, and the items ordered. Products may also be delivered in separate shipments.

In cases of force majeure and other unforeseeable, extraordinary circumstances for which we are not responsible, for example operational troubles and interruptions due to fire, water, or similar events, failures of production facilities and machines, late delivery, or delivery short falls on the part of our suppliers, and interruptions in operation due to a shortage in raw materials, energy or labor, strike, lockout, difficulties in the procurement of transportation means, disruptions or obstructions in traffic, or official intervention, we are – to the extent that the named circumstances prevent us from a timely performance of our obligations - entitled to postpone the performance of the delivery and/or service for the term of the obstruction plus areas on able start-up time. If, consequently, the performance of the delivery or service is delayed for more than one month, both we and the customer are entitled to withdraw from the contract by written notice in respect of the quantities affected by the delay in delivery.

4. Delivery Fees

We charge no delivery fees for orders above $80.
For any deliveries above the 1st floor, we charge a walk-up fee of $19.95.
Considering the costs of the transport that we incur irrespective of the availability of the customer, we charge a $30 no show fee if the customer is not home or is unable to receive the order.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 100% refund on any products at time of delivery as long as minimum order of $80 is met.

Example - If your original order was $100 and you returned $20 of that order, then your order would still qualify for the minimum order. If you would like to return $21 of that original $100order, then you will be charge the difference to get to $80.

This refund will be conditional on the state of the goods; they must be in ‘as new’ condition and have not been used by anyone. The goods must still be in the original packaging where applicable.

There is no provision for any type of refund for used products.

The steps involved to process a refund will be relative to the original payment method. Any refund processed must be refunded via the same payment method unless the original payment was made in cash. The actual purchase receipt must be presented. A refund request form will need to be completed and attached to the refund documents.

In the unlikely event that we should send a product, other than that ordered by the customer, we will exchange it for the correct product. The cost of both the return shipping of the incorrect product and the shipping of the correct product will not be applied to the customer but covered in full by us. We cannot exchange or refund any opened or used products. All product descriptions on this site are a copy of information found on the manufacturer website or provided by the manufacturer. We are not directly responsible for the claims made about these products.

Customers should report any products damaged in transit immediately. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of your failure to do so. If visibly damaged on receipt, the customer should note this on the courier`s delivery note and contact us immediately. All contents of the shipment should be returned in their original packaging, complete with all accessories and documentation. We will arrange collection of the damaged product. Once we have received the returned package, we will issue a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to the the customer.

No refunds are available for dog ears and other imperfections on the boxes.
Returns of goods delivered by us that are free of defects are excluded.

6. Limitation of claims

Claims of the customer pertaining to defects of the goods delivered by us or to services performed in breach of our obligations – including damages claims and claims for reimbursement of futile expenses are limited to the amount paid by the customer for the said order.
Customer will indemnify NYC Moving Supplies, its parent company, and any and all affiliates and hold it harmless from claims, suits, or damage, including attorney's fees and costs arising out of accident, injury or death from use of the container access holes or any other product, in lifting carrying, or otherwise moving the container by any party.
